Run 13

Pace/Distance:   So I tried using mapmyrun instead of run keeper on my phone today and it didn't work.  Apparently, it said I had a weak GPS signal when I hit the start button so while I thought it was tracking me, it was waiting for me to tell it to use the GPS anyway.  Damn.  Best as I can figure I did two miles in about 25 minutes so we'll go with 12:30/mile pace (this does include a 5 minute walking warmup, however)

Running Partner(s):   Well, I accidentally got caught up in a running group.  I was walking down this route to get started and just when I was ready to start running, a group from my gym started running right past me.  I went along with the flow and found they were running the same route I was planning on running.  Bonus of running with this group: I was not the last one finished!

How it felt:    Not too shabby.  Running with a group was nice to see where I fit in and keep pace with some other folks.  It looks like I might now have a group to run with on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays now, so that's cool.  My legs didn't hurt too bad until the end of the run.  Nothing like yesterday on the treadmill though, that's for sure.  I am starting to worry that I might be suffering from chronic compartment syndrome and that I'm going to be feeling like this every time I run unless I have surgery.  Not looking forward to that, but if I do have it, it would be nice to get it treated so I'm not in pain every time I get out there.
